I Want To Be A Circle

Moving About

Use the arrow keys for navigation. Hold Up to speed up, Down to slow down, and Left and Right to steer.

Gaining Sides

To gain a side, come into contact with someone who has more sides than you, and one of their sides will rub off on you. But be careful not to let any lesser shapes get too close, in case they drag you down.

Gaining Colour

Every time you gain a side, the world loses a little colour. You can get it back by bouncing off someone that has equal or fewer sides than you.

This is a game about aspirations.

We live in a society that encourages us to strive for success, fame and riches; but will we ever feel successful enough? Does success necessarily equal fulfilment?

This is a game about Flatland.

A 19th-century novella that describes a society of two-dimensional shapes that are so obsessed with attaining to the form of a circle that they sacrifice family life, freedom and even colour in futile pursuit of perfection.

This is a game about life.

You can play it to win, and you can play it just to enjoy it. Whether or not those are two different things is up to you.

The concept relates well to the Flatland book. Great game. Quite addictive, if not a little frustrating! Good work Chris

I keep going through the walls, is this suppose to happen or is it just my bad gaming skills?

No I’m afraid thats a bug currently, is it both walls or just the right hand one? Must look into that, its a bit of a game-wrecker!
